Introduction
We hope that Pocket Practitioner will become one of your favorite medical tools, with the familiarity of the traditional Black Bag and the stethoscope. All elements of content were chosen with care to provide maximal functionality in the simplest package.
Functional and Cost-effective
There are no hidden consulting or subscription costs with Pocket Practitioner. You receive industry-standard software tools, and you have total control over all data elements on your own PC and Handheld. Pocket Practitioner is actually two software products, one on the Palm and one on the PC.
On the Palm, you maintain your patient and clinical lists, and you transmit all information at the time of the HotSync to a database on the PC .
On the PC, the data is stored and available to you and your staff for viewing and printing. You can import and export data with ease, and data entered on the PC is transmitted back to the Palm with the next HotSync.
Pocket Practitioner contains the complete Palm application, including a backup utility. This version offers great functionality at a low cost, with the opportunity to upgrade to the Office version at any time. This product is ideal for medical practitioners in training or for those with simple tracking and reporting needs.
Pocket Practitioner Office contains the complete Palm application, a complete Desktop application, and complete CPT4 and ICD9 codes licensed from the AMA. This version offers a rock-solid business application built on Microsoft Access (runtime included), designed to keep track of billing for small and large organizations alike, at a fraction of the cost of comparable solutions.
